On completion of the main tour, the remaining group members travelled with me to the Western side of India. Our base was at the famous Rann of Kutch in Gujurat. Huge numbers of cranes, numerous wheaters, gulls, pipits and waders were the focus, as well as that mythical species Grey Hypocolius. Great birding in fantastic light, and an amazing array of species!
